This year there will be three days of competition January, 23th - Interval Start F January, 24th - Sprint F January, 25th - Skiathlon For the first time FIS Cross Country World Cup was successfully held at Demino Skiing Center in 2007 owing to the efforts of thousands of people who prepared the track at the temperature above zero possessing a total lack of natural snow. Since that time the International Ski Federation annually trusted the right for holding the competition to Rybinsk. For two years only Demino was outside the FIS calendar due to the season before the Olympic Games and the season of the Olympic Games, when the racing took place in Sochi. Over the last years owing to successful presentations of the Russian skiers in the international arena, the popularity of ski racing events and cross-country skis both for popular sport and free sport is being extremely revived. This is proved by the growing interest of the participants to popular skiing competitions all over the country and increase of the number of sport fans at stadiums.
